CMS becomes the Learned Societies Forum of AcadMathSci

The Council for the Mathematical Sciences (CMS) has now formally transitioned into the Learned Societies Forum (LSF) of the Academy for the Mathematical Sciences.

The CMS played a pivotal role in uniting the Learned Societies and laying the groundwork for the Academy. Its transition into the LSF is a natural evolution, reinforcing the Academy’s role as the national voice for the mathematical sciences while strengthening vital partnership across the breadth of the community.
