Good Practice Scheme Workshops

The Good Practice Scheme Steering Group, part of the LMS Committee for Women and Diversity in Mathematics, holds two annual workshops (one online and one in-person) with the aim of helping mathematics departments to take practical actions to improve the participation of women and to share examples of good practice with other departments.

19 April 2023 Diversity and Good Practice in PhD Selection

This was an in-person (hybrid) event held at De Morgan House.

23 January 2023: Good Practice Scheme Workshop: Promotions Practices

The LMS Committee for Women and Diversity in Mathematics held an online workshop on promotions practices on Monday 23 January 2023, via Zoom. The speakers were Nadia Mazza (Lancaster University), Helen Wilson (University College London) and Rachel Norman (University of Stirling).

14 October 2015: a Good Practice Scheme Workshop was held at the ICMS on 14 October 2015 and was jointly funded by the Edinburgh Mathematical Society.
