The LMS Newsletter is the newsletter of the London Mathematical Society. It is published four times a year (February, May, September, an November). Over 1,100 individual members of the Society opt in to receive print copies of the Newsletter and all members of the LMS can receive e-notifications of the publication of new issues online. UK universities and reciprocal societies and other academic bodies such as the British Library, also receive print copies. It contains mathematical feature articles, news, book reviews and details of conferences and other events in the mathematical world.
A typical issue runs to 36-44 pages and carries 2–3 pages of advertising.

Format
Press-ready PDF with artwork at actual size (see below). Please include 5 mm bleed for full-page adverts only. Do not include crop marks. Smaller adverts should not include bleed or crop marks. Please ensure that the resolution is at least 300 dpi (dots per inch) at actual size.
Circulation
Current print circulation: 1,130: ~850 UK; ~280 rest of the world.
An average of 1,450 members receive a direct link to the online PDF, and this is also made available to our 27,000 followers on Twitter.
Publication
Advertisements are not accepted for events that occur within the first week of the publication month.
Mailed to members on the first day of the month of issue.

Inserts
Inserts, which must be no larger than 210 x 270 mm, are charged at the same price as a double page advert (non commercial mono £995.00; colour £1140.00/commercial mono £765.00, colour £840.00) PLUS the additional cost of postage resulting from the weight of the insert (charged at net cost to the LMS).

Advertising policy
It is the view of the Newsletter Editorial Board that advertising is a legitimate source of revenue to support the publication.
The Newsletter Editorial Board is responsible for decisions on whether or not to publish an advertisement. In cases where agreement cannot be reached, the final decision will be made by the LMS Council.
The LMS policy on advertising in the LMS Newsletter is as follows:
- The Editorial Board reserves the right to refuse any advertising deemed inappropriate.
- Advertising which contravenes current legislation, particularly Equality and Diversity, will not be accepted.
- Advertisements which might damage the reputation of the Society will not be accepted.
- Advertising material must be able to be differentiated from editorial content.
- The claims made in an advertisement are not endorsed by the Newsletter Editorial Board or LMS Council.
